It is our pleasure to announce that Timmy Cedegren is this years recipient of our annual Andrew Dumont hockey scholarship. Andrew Dumont was a former SWS Chief and senior ice hockey player at Diman Regional High School when he lost his life in a skiing accident. He was the type of kid that gave his all on the ice as well as in the classroom. His varsity hockey coach said it best when he stated that " He was a great leader and a great human being".
At the end of every season we award this prize to one of our first year peewees who we believe exemplifies what it means to be a Chief and who in the coaches eyes believe best reflects Andrew's legacy.
Thank you for being a Chief and we wish Timmy continued success in his hockey career.
Sincerely, The SWS Board of Directors
Good morning Chiefs,
We have created a new registration site for our SWS Chiefs League. You will notice at the top of our webpage - www.swschiefs.org, there is a link to click on for the 2019-2020 registration. The new registration page now goes through Sports Engine. You will need to have\create an account with Sports Engine. Once you have created the Sports Engine account, you can then click on the registration link from our webpage and register your child for the upcoming tryouts. At the end of the registration, you will be required to pay the $150.00 fee. This fee is broken down into 2 sections, $50.00 tryout fee and $100.00 for the 1st payment on next year’s account. This needs to be filled out and paid by the day of tryouts.
Congratulations to Jake Salema for getting named player of the week for SNEHC
Do you have action picture of your child playing an SWS game and would like to share it? If you do, please contact Derek Lord. Once we have the picture, we will add it to the SWS Chiefs Photo's.
My goal is to deny yours.
